Summer Beauty Tips You Need To Know About

We all love the summer season. It is all about having fun, chilling under the sun, and spending quality time with your family. And while you are enjoying this beach holiday, you might as well take note of the following beauty tips to keep your skin glowing and ready to beat the summer heat.

Drink plenty of water

This is probably the most obvious tip we can give. Drinking plenty of water (at least 2 liters) a day will keep your skin hydrated and moisturized inside out. With water, it can keep your skin supple and less dry making it easier for the skin to absorb the full benefits of your skin care regimen. It will not only affect the well-being of your skin, but also your health.

Moisturize and moisturize

Summer days doesn’t mean that you must stop moisturizing. As a matter of fact, this is the time (apart Winter) that you need to keep on moisturizing your skin. Long exposure under the sun, sea breeze, and salt water can dry out your skin, so it’s better to keep your moisturizer at arm’s length. You can opt to a water-based moisturizer as it is less to none sticky.

While using sunscreen should be used regularly, you must upgrade the amount of sunscreen you apply onto your skin because the sun is twice as hot during the summer. Protect your skin by using a sunscreen with enough SPF every 2-3 hours a day to prevent it from being damaged. Choose a sunscreen with at least SPF35 for best protection.

Stock up on Deep Conditioner

You cannot avoid having a dry and frizzy hair during the summer. The high humidity and heat can damage the texture of the hair making it dry and frizzy. The best way to prevent this is to deep condition the hair twice or thrice a week. You can still use your usual conditioner every day, but we suggest that you level it up by using a deep conditioner (treatment conditioner).

Exfoliate 2-3 times a week

During summer, our dead skin doubles, and sometimes cleansing is not enough. That is why you must exfoliate at least 2-3 times a week to remove the dead skin and unclogged the pores. This will also make your skin smoother and a nice canvas to put on a makeup.

Focus on your lips too

The lips is also the part of our face that needs to be taken care of. The skin of our lips is very sensitive that is why it can easily get dry. They are delicate, so they need to be of attention as well. During summer, we suggest that you choose a lip balm with cooling properties and SPF to keep it moisturized, protected from the heat of the sun, and chapped-free.
