How to take care of your eyelash extensions
Before we start discussing the steps on how you guys can take care of your eyelash extensions, here are some of the information you may want to know about this service and your natural lashes as well.
Our eyelashes has its own hair cycle. It usually takes 3 months for it to naturally fall off. There are times when you get scared because your natural lash fell off together with the extension but it is a natural process. Unless it felt painful before the natural lashes started to fall off.
The products used to put eyelash extensions causes irritation and inflammations. But often, it is because the customer has a really sensitive skin. It’s not because the products used are bad.
Here are some of the tips we can give you so you can take care of your eyelash extensions and make them stay for a longer period of time.
1. For a minimum of 6 hours after the extensions are applied, avoid getting your lashes wet. Getting it wet after the process would make it fall off easily.
2. Avoid humid or high-temperature places.
3. Women cannot avoid putting eye make ups. For cleansing, avoid using oil-based products as it causes the extensions to fall off quickly.
4. Avoid using eyelash curlers and mascaras. Eyelash extensions are designed to give you the curl and thickness you want to achieve so don’t go overboard by using more eyelash products.
5. Avoid rubbing your eyes. This might cause the extensions to go in different directions making it fall off right away.
6. Avoid sleeping facing down or having pressure applied onto your lashes with a pillow for a long period of time. This will result to the extensions developing a kink. It is better to sleep facing upward.
These are just some of the points you should follow if you want your eyelash extensions stay longer. We hope this can help you!
