Halloween Decoration and Party Ideas for 2018
Where are you going to celebrate Halloween this 2018? Are you going to celebrate it at home, at a club, or at the mall? Here are some of my recommendations for you and some decorations you would need at home for the Halloween!
If you are still wondering what costume and preparations you would be needing next week, you may check my other blog posts about:
Here are some of KIYOSA Japanese Total Beauty’s decoration that you may also recreate!
If you need to prepare some food and decorations at home, you may try recreating these:
Just get a permanent marker and draw a pumpkin face on a mandarin!
Using cheese, shape it into a ball and cover it with sesame seeds or poppy seeds to make the bat. Stick nacho chips on both sides for the wings and add carrot or pepper for the eyes.
Place water on the ice cube trays and add a gummy worm on each cube. Freeze it on the refrigerator and add it on drinks!
Boil an egg and cut some olives to make the legs of the spider. Also, add half an olive on the center for the body of the spider.
Spaghetti Eye Ball
Place two meatballs on top of the spaghetti. Squeeze some cheese on the meatball and add a slice of olive to make it look like eyes.
On a toast, spread some avocado all over it. Cut some seaweed for the head, add a small stick of pretzel for the nose, a slice of tomato for the mouth, and two olives for the eyes.
Ghost Banana and Pumpkins
Slice a banana into two and place some chocolate bits to make the eyes and the mouth of the ghost. As for the pumpkin, peel off the skin of oranges and add a small slice of cucumber on the top to serve as the stem.
Once the brownie has been baked, cut it into a shape of a coffin. Afterwards, use icing to decorate and write words such as RIP.
Panna Cotta Eyeball
Place a good amount of strawberry syrup at the bottom of the plate, then place the panna cotta on top of it, place a slice of kiwi, and a piece of grape to make it look like an eyeball.
Cute Monster Rice Krispie
Microwave marshmallows until it melts and then add rice krispies into the melted marshmallow and mix it all together. Mold it into the shape you want and wait for it to cool down. Once it has harden, you can add your choice of color for the icing and add some eyes on top.
HORROR MOVIE MARATHON
If you do not feel like going outside, you can have your own horror movie marathon at home! Here are some movie recommendations for the Halloween:
Nightmare Before Christmas
Spend the most wonderful time of the year with your favorite purple pal in this “dino-mite” Christmas classic. Join Barney and friends as they take a musical journey to the North Pole where they are greeted as special guests at Santa’s Workshop.
Victor (Johnny Depp) and Victoria’s (Emily Watson) families have arranged their marriage. Though they like each other, Victor is nervous about the ceremony. While he’s in a forest practicing his lines for the wedding, a tree branch becomes a hand that drags him to the land of the dead. It belongs to Emily, who was murdered after eloping with her love and wants to marry Victor. Victor must get back aboveground before Victoria marries the villainous Barkis Bittern (Richard E. Grant).
Hotel Transylvania 3
In Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, join our favorite monster family as they embark on a vacation on a luxury monster cruise ship so Drac can take a summer vacation from providing everyone else’s vacation at the hotel. It’s smooth sailing for Drac’s Pack as the monsters indulge in all of the shipboard fun the cruise has to offer, from monster volleyball to exotic excursions, and catching up on their moon tans. But the dream vacation turns into a nightmare when Mavis realizes Drac has fallen for the mysterious captain of the ship, Ericka, who hides a dangerous secret that could destroy all of monsterkind.
After the members of a team of scientists (Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray) lose their cushy positions at a university in New York City, they decide to become “ghostbusters” to wage a high-tech battle with the supernatural for money. They stumble upon a gateway to another dimension, a doorway that will release evil upon the city. The Ghostbusters must now save New York from complete destruction.
When a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together, they uncover the order’s unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of a demonic nun.
The First Purge
To push the crime rate below one percent for the rest of the year, the New Founding Fathers of America test a sociological theory that vents aggression for one night in one isolated community. But when the violence of oppressors meets the rage of the others, the contagion will explode from the trial-city borders and spread across the nation.
