Eyelash extension bad service

We need to know the difference between bad and good service for us to feel satisfied on the services we purchase.

This is a testimony we got from a loyal eyelash extension addict.

“Hi, you may call me RB. I’m an eyelash extensions fan and have been going in eyelash salons for two years now.

I’d like to share my experience in one of the most famous eyelash salons here in Metro Manila for this might be useful for you now or in the future.

I went there to try their eyelash extensions as I’ve been a fan of this service for 2 years already.

They don’t have a menu for eyelash like in other salons wherein you can choose the length, curl, thickness and number of pieces they will put. They only have two types of eyelash extensions which is strand by strand extensions and the other one is mascara effect.

I chose strand by strand as I expected it to be the one is to one technique.

When I lie down, she immediately asked me to close my eyes.

I was shocked as I am used to being asked first about the details of the lashes I want. So I asked what type of eyelash is she putting and how many.

She showed me only two types of thickness: Thick and Thin.

Length available is 11,12 and 13mm only.

And she did not mention any curl.

I chose thick and 11mm. And then she said she will just fill my eye with extensions and that there is no count.

She started cleaning my eyelash by wiping my whole eyes with cotton and some remover which is really bad especially for customers with eye make up like me.

After that she put tapes under my eyes and I suddenly felt bad because she applied so much pressure in putting the tape so that it will stick.

When she was putting the extensions, she checks in the middle of the process if my eyelash sticks on the tape and when she does that, she opens my eyes which is very painful because the glue is still wet.

For everyone who’ve tried eyelash extensions already, you’ll know that when the glue they use is still wet, it’s really painful in the eyes.

Tape removal is also very painful. It felt like she’s removing wax under my eyes. She also had to use wet cotton while removing the tape because it was too painful for me.

She did not do any counselling, she just told me not to expose my extensions on very hot places and activities.

After an hour, the extensions started to fall off and only 17 on my left eye and 13 on my right eye were left.

I believe that a lot of people don’t know which technique is good or bad that’s why these salons are famous.

It would be best for us customers to do our own research before trying out any type of service.

My natural lashes got damaged but is now being taken care of a certain salon.

I hope you can learn something from my experience.

Thank you so much.”

Ms. RB wouldn’t realize how bad the service was if she didn’t know anything about eyelash extensions.

Here are some points to consider or to look for if you’re going to try eyelash extensions services:

1. Cleanliness

-This is basically a must for all businesses. If your eyelash salon has a dirty surrounding, or their tools and furnitures aren’t clean, perhaps it’s about time you look for a new eyelash salon.

2. Operation Rules

-Getting eyelash extensions would be the perfect time to relax and even sleep. If your eyelash technician or staff keeps on talking to other staffs, the atmosphere wouldn’t be good.

3. Technique

-A lot of us don’t know the difference these different techniques have. But based on research, an eyelash technician should have at least 2 months worth of training before he/she is bale to do it to customers.

This is because the eyes are a crucial part of our bodies and we have to take good care of it.
These are just the basic information every woman needs to know before they get their eyelashes extended. We hope this helps you choose the best salon that’ll provide you this service.
