5 Tips for the Best Men Hair Care!
Hair routines are really important. Having a good one doesn’t need much effort, just the right tools and information is enough to have the hair you’ve always wanted.
TIP #1:
WASH YOUR HAIR TWO OR THREE TIMES A WEEK
A lot of people might think that washing their hair daily is healthy, when in reality it’s not! Doing it too often removes the protective oil of your hair that your scalp naturally produces. It then leaves the hair more prone to getting damaged.
For most men, washing hair two to three times a week works best. This might make you feel a little uncomfortable at first because your hair will overproduce oil that’ll make your hair feel greasy. Just be patient and wait for things to balance out.
For days that your hair becomes super greasy, you can wash it with water only. This will cleanse your hair without stripping the protective oil.
TIP #2:
TAKE REGULAR TRIPS TO SALONS AND/OR BARBER SHOPS
All hair routines will be put to waste if you keep your hair is unkempt. Some men get their hair trimmed once a month, for others once every three months is enough. Find what suits you best and keep up with it.
TIP #3:
CHOOSE YOUR SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER WISELY.
Get rid of the thinking that all products are alike. Make sure to use products that’ll work well with your hair so that it can look it’s best. Check the label and as much as possible, go for products that’s silicone-free and sulfate-free. These ingredients are hard on the hair.
For dry and frizzy hair, look for products that moisturizes and hydrates the hair.
For weak hair that breaks and frays easily, ingredients like keratin and collagen will help your hair restore it’s healthiness.
TIP #4:
USE WARM OR COLD WATER INSTEAD OF HOT WHEN WASHING YOUR HAIR
We know how warm shower feels and it’s really great, but it can also make your hair dry. It’s really better to use warm or cold water when washing your hair. If you really like a steaming hot shower, finish it off by washing your hair with warm or cold water just so hair will dry out shiny and healthy.
TIP #5:
SPOT DRY YOUR HAIR INSTEAD OF TOWELING IT ROUGH
Water causes the molecules of the hair to stretch so it’s really weak when it’s wet. Toweling it rough might cause your hair to break. It’s better to dab it with a towel to remove excess water and then finish it off with air drying.
For the macho men out there, it just takes little effort to protect your hair and keep them healthy. These are just tips on how you can do it. It’s still better to find and discover the best hair care routine for your type of hair. We hope these tips will help you doing so.
