Lightly hold the bottle

This is probably the most famous pose – the bottle grab. We have been following @cayaline because of her #HowToInstagram tips and found this gem. She pointed out the small things that you probably always miss when you are taking a picture of your nails.

Hand on Hand

You may need a friend to get a picture like this. Put your hand on top of the other to show off how beautifully made your nails are. Just make sure that you properly moisturize your hands, so it will not look too dry in the photo.

Claw Hand

Apart from the bottle grab pose, the claw hand is also one of the most popular nail photo pose in Instagram. It doesn’t need props or anything, but your hand and your photography skills. All you need to do is flex your fingers to fold in half to show all five fingers of yours. This pose is the easiest one to do and it shows the whole look of your manicure.

The Invisible Hold

This is yet another less-props and easiest nail pose to do. Pretend that you are holding something in your hands and place your fingers on the outer part of your palm. It gives the feminine and chill look. It would be nice if you are wearing a nice sweater or a cute long sleeve shirt to go with it. Other than that, you don’t need anything.

Give it a Prop

Saw a cute thing to grab on to? Then use it as a prop! Be creative in using some props to go with your nail polish. Anything will do as long as the color matches and the prop not overpowering the style of your nails. Choose something that not only match, but will compliment your nails to make it more eye-catching in the photo.

As for what camera is best to use, your smartphone can do the job for you. It is easier to use, and it is also always with you, so you can just grab it from your purse post-manicure and snap a pic. With smartphones, you can instantly edit the photos too and post it right after in your Instagram page. Match it with a catchy caption and voila, you now have a perfect nail picture #nailgoals.
