Any eyelash product these days are now on trend! Falsies, mascaras and eyelash extensions can be found on almost every woman’s natural eyelashes.

With this, we should be knowledgeable about these products and services. We’ve mentioned before that curlers and mascaras can damage your natural eyelashes. False eyelashes are the same!

Here are some notes to consider before you use false eyelashes often or daily:

  1. Glue attached to the eyelids and natural eyelashes – When putting falsies, we use glue and attach it to the skin. This process makes both the skin and eyelashes weak.
  2. Removal of false eyelashes – Since its attached to both the skin and eyelashes, removing it results to our natural lashes getting removed as well. Forced removal of natural eyelashes leads to the weakened regrowth or worst, it won’t grow anymore.
  3. Sometimes causes inflammation and infection – The glue being applied directly on the skin sometimes causes irritation making our eyes or eyelids itchy and infected. It also sometimes causes eye inflammation especially if the glue isn’t that safe..

These are just some of the cons of using falsies too often or every day. If you’re currently experiencing some or all of these situations, here are some tips on how you can recover from getting your natural lashes damaged.

  1. Choose the glue you will use – When we buy falsies, most of them comes with a glue already. If you can’t refrain from using false eyelashes, it would be safer to choose a glue that’s good for the skin and not harsh on the natural lashes.
  2. Removal process – Again, if you can’t refrain from using falsies, when you remove them, do it very carefully. Who wants to get their lashes damaged right?
  3. Don’t use too much glue – Sticking these falsies doesn’t necessarily mean you have to put a lot of glue for it to last. You just need to put an ample amount of glue and if doesn’t last for the duration of time that you need it, you’re probably using a bad glue.
  4. Don’t use falsies anymore – If possible, you should refrain yourself from using false eyelashes just to make sure that your natural lashes will stay healthy.

These are just basic information that every woman needs to know if they want to achieve the lashes of their dreams. Our eyelashes have its own hair cycle which is around 3 months. It is natural for our lashes to fall off but what we don’t want is for it to fall off because of the wrong reason. If you take these tips seriously, you’ll have healthier natural lashes in no time!
